KAT!! I'm so sorry it's been so long since I've left you a comment!! D:
For some reason, the internet at my dorm doesn't display Shattered Tranquility correctly... and it won't let me post a comment. I'm at home on my stepdad's computer right now.
SO HEY, Dir en grey's back in November!!! They'll be in San Fran so you better be going! I might be going to the second West Hollywood show, but I don't think I can make the San Fran one. :(
Well, it's a week-long pass to go anywhere on the JR line... which is pretty much the biggest train line in Japan. Plus I can ride two out of three types of bullet train, so I can get anywhere I want in Japan. Which is the plan--travel Japan in a week. We'll see if I can do it, haha.
Ohhhh I went to Universal Studios in 6th grade I think... the Jurassic Park ride was pretty awesome... :O
They really do. They are solid. No obvious weak points.
Yeah... I have a free rail pass thing I have to use before the end of the year. So, that's why. x)
I KNOW RIGHT! :O
As soon as I heard the first, like, 3 seconds of "Sally" I was like... *drool* Haha. The vocalist is very, very good. And the composition keeps up with him, which is always nice. I'm expecting good things from this band... and I plan to see them if I can this winter when I go back to Japan... :)
Look for one cheap on eBay, maybe... once you get it you will fall in love. Unless you don't understand how to use it, which is entirely possible, because they are rather tricky. If you have any trouble though, I can explain it. :)
Do! Look up "ZXST" on YouTube, and listen to the songs 「Sally」 and 「I wanna break my heart」 and 「雨」 (Ame). Those three are from their single Desparate Departure, and that's what I got for free from a shop in Harajuku. I wasn't expecting much but then I heard it and was like WHOA. :O
Well, ten is a good place to start. :)
Yesss get a dictionary! I recommend a Nelson if you can find one used somewhere for cheap. Nelson is, hands down, the best kanji dictionary. Ever.
Keep up the chatting. Let me know how it goes. :)
Hey, have you heard of a band called ZXST? Apparently no one here has! I just did a member search under "favorite bands" and no one but me has them listed... D:
Well the common ones are the most important, and that's why everyone starts with those! The uncommon ones aren't necessary for everyday life... just for reading lyrics written by crazy jrockers. Haha. And those are the ones you just look up, you don't even need to remember them. Which is what I do. I translate Kyo's lyrics with a dictionary in one hand, yo. I'd be completely lost, otherwise.
Oh, thanks for saying that! I hope I can do well! I'll do my best. :)
So have you looked into Japanese classes in your area yet...?
Oh, you don't know any kanji yet... yeah, it's tough to read anything if you don't know any kanji. Well, when you do start taking a Japanese class you'll learn some! :D
Haha, that's totally the point... the grade... not my own enjoyment... yeeeahhhh... >_> Haha.
